Home Office and Residential Services

Mr. Computer defines Residential and Home Office as: a residence with less than 2 PC's per family member and having no employees.

Mr. Computer recommends the following on-call and pre-paid subscription service rates plans to our residential, individual and home office clients.  Our pre-paid plans offer the advantage of regular service intervals at reduced cost – our on-call plans offer flexibility and/or accelerated response time in emergency situations.  Additionally, our walk-in service center is available during the week.

All non-emergency service calls include General Maintenance Services and are concurrent with any specific service objective.



Standard Appointment 

  • Regular service calls (Monday - Friday)
  • Typically task-centric – must call or e-mail to set appointment time
  • Standard hourly rate
  • 1 hour minimum - additional time billed in 15-minute intervals


On-Call 4-Hour Response 

  • A technician will arrive on-site within 4 hours of service request (Monday - Saturday)
  • Hourly rate is higher than a standard appointment,1 hour minimum - additional time billed in 15-minute intervals

Discounted On-Site Service Plans

  • Annual pre-payment
  • Appointment date scheduled in advance
  • Hourly rate discounted depending on frequency of service
Semi-annual On-Site Services

Quarterly On-site Services
-  ($102.00 / each additional hour)

Monthly On-site Services
- ($96 / each additional hour)

Walk-In Service

  • Available Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 – 10:00AM and 2:30 – 5:00PM, drop-off and pickup hours
  • Recommended for hardware upgrades, virus / malware removal or as a practical alternative when scheduling a residential appointment is not an option.

Server Monitoring

  • Annual or monthly pre-paid server monitoring
    • Mr. Computer will log-in on your server weekly to check for (and if necessary, download) and install operating system updates and service packs.   The technician will check for and update firewall, anti-virus or anti-spyware software or make the necessary recommendation if no such software is found.
